Our Story
Every company has a story. Ours begins with a 16-year-old laborer who was committed to working harder than anyone else on the site.
Our founder entered the site work industry at 16, learning the trade from the ground up. By 18, he was operating a box blade tractor and gaining hands-on experience in grading, land clearing, and site preparation. During this time, he developed a deep passion for building a business of his own.
Between the ages of 18 and 21, he worked in site work by day and delivered pizzas at night to save every dollar possible. Recognizing his determination, a former boss offered a life-changing opportunity by selling him his first truck, tractor, and trailer. Since traditional financing wasn’t an option for a young entrepreneur, the equipment was purchased with a 50% down payment and the remainder was personally financed by the seller.
In 2005, at age 21, the company was officially founded.
For the first five years, the work was a solo effort, seven days a week, from dawn until dusk. Every dollar earned was reinvested into the business rather than taken as a paycheck. To ensure the company could grow, our family lived in a single-wide home for thirteen years to keep personal expenses at a minimum.
However, this company was never built by one person alone. While the work happened in the field, the business was being managed at home. After working a full-time job and caring for our family, my wife and I would spend our nights preparing invoices, completing billing, and organizing paperwork. Those quiet hours in our bedroom became the office where our foundation was built.
Every piece of equipment added and every customer earned was the result of shared sacrifice and a belief that hard work would pay off. Five years after opening, we hired our first employee. Today, many of those original team members are still with us. Their loyalty has shaped our company, and we believe our people are our greatest asset. Equipment may move the dirt, but the people behind the controls build the reputation our clients trust.
More than twenty years later, we approach every project with the same values we started with: honesty, hard work, accountability, and pride in doing the job right.
Our success isn’t measured by the equipment we own, but by the people who believed in us, the family that sacrificed together, and the relationships we’ve built one job at a time. That is the foundation we stand on and the foundation we bring to every project.
